*NEDERLANDS TE VINDEN BIJ 'LEES MEER...'*
On Sunday the 22nd of September Vakgericht 1 was ready to play against EKC Nääs 3. It was a sunny Sunday morning and we were looking forward to the game. After a warm warming up it was time to start the game.
Thomas, Luuk, Michelle and Amelia started in attack. Joost, Jasper, Merel and Hanna started in defense. Hanna was, just like the previous game, our captain.
Luuk opened the score with a long shot. Unfortunately, our defense committed a foul and EKC Nääs was awarded a penalty. This penalty was scored, making the score 1-1. Memorable moment: Joost blocked the star player of EKC Nääs, Frank Landkroon (a well-known to most korfball players around here). EKC Nääs then managed to hit the basket twice by two doorloop-balls. One of these doorloop-balls was a nice ball behind the basket of our former trainer Bertil.
In response to Bertil's doorloop-ball, Luuk scored a goal behind the basket, making it 3-2. Then Thomas had a nice short chance behind the basket, scoring the 3-3.
Unfortunately, EKC Nääs scored a shot, a doorloop-ball and another goal, allowing to extend their lead to 6-3. Thomas then happily broke through their series and scored the 6-4 for Vakgericht. Before the break EKC Nääs managed to find the basket once more. The result with which we entered the break was 7-4.
After a good discussion and some cooling down in the shade it was time for the second half!
The first goal in the second half was scored by EKC Nääs. Fortunately Michelle then made a nice long shot, making it 8-5. Next, EKC Nääs scored 9-5 and 10-5 on the go. After that, Vakgericht was lucky to score again. We brought the score to 10-8 thanks to a shot from Merel and two shots from Thomas. Then EKC Nääs scored the 11-8, 12-8 and 13-8 in a row. Both teams then scored, making the final score 14-9.

Op zondag 22 september mocht Vakgericht 1 aantreden tegen EKC Nääs 3. Het was een zonnige zondagmorgen en we hadden zin in de wedstrijd. Na het warmlopen en de bespreking was het tijd om te beginnen met de wedstrijd.
Thomas, Luuk, Michelle en Amelia begonnen in de aanval. Joost, Jasper, Merel en Hanna begonnen in de verdediging. Hanna was, net zoals de vorige wedstrijd, aanvoerster.
Luuk opende de score met een afstandsschot. Jammer genoeg maakte onze verdediging een overtreding, waarop EKC Nääs een strafworp kreeg. Deze werd gescoord, waardoor de stand 1-1 werd. Memorabel moment: Joost blokte de sterspeler van EKC Nääs, Frank Landkroon (bij de meeste korfballers hier uit de buurt een bekende). Vervolgens wist EKC Nääs tweemaal de korf te raken door middel van twee doorloopballen. Een van deze doorloopballen was een mooie doorloopbal achter de korf van onze oud-trainer Bertil.
Als reactie op de doorloopbal van Bertil maakte Luuk een doelpunt door een schot achter de korf te raken, waardoor de stand 3-2 werd. Vervolgens maakte Thomas een korte kans achter de korf, stand 3-3.
Jammer genoeg liet Vakgericht daarna achter elkaar een schot, een doorloopbal en nog een doelpunt door, waardoor EKC Nääs de voorsprong uitbreidde naar 6-3. Thomas doorbreekte daarna gelukkig de reeks en scoorde de 6-4 voor Vakgericht. Voor de rust wist EKC Nääs nog eenmaal de korf te vinden. De stand waarmee we de rust ingingen was 7-4.
Na een goede bespreking en wat verkoeling in de schaduw was het tijd voor de tweede helft. We vonden dat de wedstrijd nog niet verloren was en gingen dus met volle moed de tweede helft in!
Het eerste doelpunt in de tweede helft werd gescoord door EKC Nääs. Gelukkig maakte Michelle daarna een mooi afstandsschot waardoor de stand 8-5 werd. Vervolgens scoorde EKC Nääs de 9-5 en 10-5 op rijd. Daarna mocht Vakgericht gelukkig weer scoren. We brachten door een schot van Merel en twee schoten van Thomas de stand op 10-8. Daarna scoorde EKC Nääs de 11-8, 12-8 en 13-8. Beide teams scoorden daarna nog tweemaal waardoor de eindstand 14-9 werd.
