S.K.V. Vakgericht is op 7 februari 1990 opgericht door een groep enthousiaste korfballers op de Universiteit Twente. De vereniging heeft momenteel ongeveer 58 leden, allen studerend aan Universiteit Twente of Saxion Hogeschool. Bij Vakgericht is niet alleen sportiviteit, maar ook gezelligheid erg belangrijk. Zo wordt er vaak na de training nog wat gedronken en gezellig nagepraat. |
S.K.V. Vakgericht was founded on February 7 1990 by a group of enthusiastic korfball players at the University of Twente. Vakgericht currently has 55 members that study either at the University of Twente or Saxion University of Applied Sciences. Being a member of Vakgericht is not only about sports, fun is also very important. That’s why we often stay after practice to talk and have a drink with each other. |

| Bij Vakgericht kan je competitielid of trainingslid worden. Als competitielid train je twee keer per week en speel je in het weekend wedstrijden voor Vakgericht in de breedtekorfbalcompetitie. Wil je wel graag wedstrijden spelen, maar kan je niet in het weekend, dan kun je meedoen met het midweekteam. Hiervoor kun je contact opnemen met Dit e-mailadres wordt beveiligd tegen spambots. JavaScript dient ingeschakeld te zijn om het te bekijken.. Als trainingslid kun je ook twee keer per week trainen, maar speel je geen wedstrijden voor Vakgericht in het weekend. Trainingsleden kunnen wel een wedstrijdje meeballen bij de midweek. Je kunt dan ook perfect bij je huidige vereniging blijven spelen in het weekend. Trainingen worden verzorgt door een groep enthousiaste (oud-)leden. Voor de huidige standen van onze teams, kun je hier een kijkje nemen. | At Vakgericht you can become either a competition member or a casual member. As a competition member you practice one or two times a week and play a match in the weekend. Currently we have one competition team. If you want to join the selection, please send an email to the competition secretary. Would you like to play matches but are you not available on the weekends? Besides this you can also just be a casual member meaning you can practice two times a week without playing matches on the weekend. If you want, you could still play a midweek match every now and then. Therefore, you could also keep playing matches with your hometown team and practice here in Enschede. Gezelligheid |

| Ook gezelligheid is bij Vakgericht erg belangrijk. De activiteitencommissie organiseert het hele jaar door grote en kleine activiteiten. Een aantal voorbeelden zijn het nieuwjaarsdiner, de maandelijkse borrels en het verengingsweekend met Pinksteren. Ook doet Vakgericht elk jaar aan studententoernooien mee. Deze toernooien zijn een combinatie van feesten en spelen in een weekend en worden georganiseerd door studentenkorfbalverenigingen door heel Nederland. Ons eigen toernooi vind plaats in het eerste weekend van juli. Uiteraard wordt er gespeeld om het toernooi te winnen, maar de gezelligheid is het belangrijkst. Voor alle andere leuke dingen die we uitspoken, check onze activiteitenpagina, en de agenda rechts. | Just like sports, fun is also an important part of Vakgericht. Our activity committee organizes both small and big activities all year long. Some of those are the New Year’s dinner, our monthly drinks and the association weekend during Pentecost (pinksteren). Vakgericht also joins other student association’s korfball tournaments, of which every student korfball association organizes one. These are a combination of partying and playing korfball. The tournament organized by Vakgericht takes place in the first weekend of July. The tournament is obviously played with the aim to win, but having fun is most important. | ||
